Non-Profit Support Community Involvement

HQ employees take advantage of a jambalaya lunch during the Shopper's Fair. Proceeds from the annual fair and lunch are donated to the Greater Baton Rouge United Way.
DPS&C employees participate in a number of worthwhile projects in their respective communities throughout the year. The Department ranks as one of the most active and generous state agencies when it comes to helping such organizations as:
- United Way
- American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Walk
- Special Olympics and the Louisiana Law Enforcement Torch Run
- McMains Developmental Center
